I did some looking around and everyone said you need to swap oil pan and pickup to fit a +98 header or bandit header but my question is on my 93 kat 600 I'm going to customize my exhaust so I plan to start from scratch and go from there, I'm looking for a 4-1 header and wonder if a +98 or bandit header will fit without swapping anything.

Negatory. If buying a different oil pan and pick up makes this swap financially out of reach. Maybe custom making shit isn't the best idea.
Okay, I had to re read your post. You realize the first sentence is the answer to the question you asked in the second sentence right? Is there something I'm not seeing here?

No, they made the 98+ more compact, the pan is thinner and pickup is shorter. Really easy to change both pieces. Don't forget new header gaskets."I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you when I called you stupid. I thought you already knew..."

Yeah I guess, sorry about that. I got no bottom fairing so wasn't entirely sure if there was any other header out there that could work but I guess if it's easy enough I'll just swap the pan and pickup, pan I could see is easy wasn't sure about the pickupComment
