After my recent trip I was toying with the Idea of an auxiliary fuel cell like the Iron Butt Guys use. I did a few 750 Mile + days and the fuel stops came up more frequently than I liked. Curious if anyone ever did it on a Kat.

I do have a picture floating around somewhere of an older Ninja 250 some dude was riding that had cut the top of the tank and raised it like 3-4". Just can't find it atm...

The idea hit me when I saw Jim Rodgers BMW (Investment Biker) with the Aux. Tank on the rear seat. It just looked cool to me and I love the thought of making the Kat more suitable for the long rides I do. I will probably switch up to a larger bike eventually but for now, why not mod the Kat.
