Looking for everyone's opinion on the setup of their fp setups. I got a set of headers and a vance mid pipe and can any trial and errors?

FP install sheet covers exactly your setup. Stock setup on the jets, 2.5 turns on mixture, third clips up on the needle, as a starting point.

What bike do you have a 90-97 600? If so I'm not so sure the 112.5 main jets will be the best. Test the 112.5 and the 115. Choose the one that pulls the best at wide open throttle.

I just install the 112.5 main jets, but I include the entire kit. I've been told that with a full exhaust the 115 main jets are superior to the 112.5.

I built a set of carbs for crazycraven420 with a Factory Pro jet kit. He has a 4 into 1 full aftermarket exhaust on his 94 600. I'm pretty sure I used the 115 main jets. That was a while ago. Maybe he'll post a reply here.

I ran the FP stage 1 kit, 115 main jets, needle was on the 3rd clip and A/F scows were around 3 turns. I noticed I had to adjust the A/F screws depending on season as in NJ the temps would go from 40's to 100's from spring to winter. Most of the time I went from 2.5 turns in the summer hot months and 3 turns when it was cooler out.

I had a the FP stage 1, V&H full exhaust, timing advanced 4* for about a year, then I turbo'd it and kept the FP jet kit installed but swapped out the jets for something a bit smaller.
