i picked up the ss700 "Top Dead Center" before the season started, have worn it about 4 or 5 times and i love it. picked up a mirrored shield to go along with the clear. took me about 10 minutes to get it switched but i'm sure next time will be much easier. vents are good and solid and helmet is much lighter than ones i've used before. can't compare to your old one but i have no complaints about mine at all...in fact i ordered the wrong size and there was some damage on the first one i ordered and their customer service was great, had a new size and nondamaged helmet within a couple weeks
