  • 3rd Annual M1GP 24 hour race

Whew, thats over. We raced a 50cc Honda NSR this weekend. Started out with 6 riders but ended up with only 3 at the end due to injuries. Ended up running almost 7 hours a piece for us that remained. Blew up the top end, fixed it and finihed the race 9th out of 12 overall. We were running 4th when it blew and probably could have fought for a podium finish if it would have lasted. Still completed 1031 laps in 24 hours

Very cool. That's like between 220 and 250 laps for each rider. That's like doing ten races in a row with little to no rest between heats. Iron-man stuff! How did you prep yourself for a race like that? How do you come up with your riders list? Who provides the bike and preps it? The planning and prep for a 24 hour race has got to be huge...

That sounds like a whole lot of fun, but man, that's a lot of riding too!

      Just because they sound the same doesn't mean they are: there≠their≠they're; to≠too≠two; its≠it's; your≠you're; know≠no; brake≠break

Says the man who is an expert on what a lot of riding is!
Get over yourself. For me to think you are an idiot, I would first need to think of you.

I didnt prep at all and i felt it!!! You didnt notice how long it had been until you saw the pit board at 60, 90 and 120. The team captain basically asked whomever he thought was dumb enough to ride and we did. He bought the bike and we asked our team sponsors for help. We had almost everything. Had to make a base gasket out of a Monster Rehab 4 pack box but other than that we made it!!
