  • 100000 Mile VStrom

I found these on the web. A guy's Vstrom 1000 just clocked 100000. Gives me confidence that my Kat has some life left in it (only have 14000 on mine).

14 thou is just barely off the showroom floor, isn't it? I was selling my 06 VTX with 27 thou on it and they said that was a lot of miles. I don't see it as being that many miles. Most of my riding for the last two years has been on my ZZR1200. (43 thou) (not many as I see it)

No problem. Unfortunately I have not been able to ride as much as I would like to for the last year and I know 14k is not much.

Amazing that someone could put 100k on a bike. I know they will easily last that long, but I usually get bored of my bikes long before they get anywhere near that!

Bikes are harder to resell than cars with high mileage. You can sell a car with 100k on it a lot easier than a bike with 100k on it.

                              so is that 100 000 miles = 160 935km
                              or
                              100 000km = 62 138 miles

                              either way impressive
I would not be very trusting for long haul riding
