    Help can’t stop
This started with wanting to modify the head light to dual 4” rounds.

Then thought I’d touch up the plastic, we’ll mite as well change the color while I’m at it. But I couldn’t have white rims so they need removed and painted. Than I found a rear bearing that was a little rough so new bearings front and rear. Mite as well replace break pads I’m this far.

Snap shot of the new color

Almost forgot chopped-off the shovel, and added blinkers to the side view mirrors

      looks great!

Make sure to paint that rear brake lever and foot pegs black - it'll flow nicely with the black lowers and swing arm

(sorry for the crappy pic - one of the few I had from that side of the bike!)

Your bike looks real nice... Did you rattle can it or use a more professional setup?

The OP's rims are 88 Kat 600 rims. There are a few late 80s GSXRs that used those as well.

They are smaller in width than the rest of the Pre kats... like a 2.75 front, and 3" rear I believe.

The are stock rims from the 88 year. Everything after that is the ones MrBrant has on his Kat.
I have embarked on the road of modding. Even if you BOLT ON new parts to a bike, there will be someone somewhere that has the same combination. With the Kat, you have a unique platform. Sure, some parts might be from other bikes, but no one will have the same combination. It will be truly yours and unique.

Looks cool. Finally someone else understands blue is the fastest color.
