  • My bags are packed, ready to go!

All right! Tomorrow's the start of the first long roadtrip on the Kat.

Leaving from Winnipeg, heading out to the Canadian Rockies (Banff, Jasper, etc.).

After that, I truly have no idea where I'm going to go. Might go west to the coast, or north in to the Yukon/Alaska.
I've got 2 weeks off, so I'm just going to ride where I feel like riding to!

That is, if the bike makes it that far

Here's some terrible pictures as she sits garaged for the night, ready to leave.

    Packing:
    • Fieldsheer contour expandable magnetic tank bag.
    • Fieldsheer expandable saddle bags. (currently NOT expanded. I'm sure that will change!)
    • Large dry bag for the Tent, sleeping bag, rain gear, pillow (luxury # 1), and camping char (luxury # 2)
    • 2.5gal jerry can. (I dunno about that 200km range when going through the mountains / back roads)

        Thanks guys!

Going solo on this one. The other bike is my buddy's Sportster he's working on in my garage. (though, I think "working on" and "Harley" are actually synonyms

Have a safe trip. Watch out for the bears...... the ones with four paws......or...the ones with four wheels.......or both.
sigpicLife throws you curves......enjoy the ones you get when riding.

Stay in touch with someone everyday! Going solo is great but stay in touch in case you hit a patch of trouble.
