    Funny, I would have never considered trying to cross a stream on one...... kind of like using a screwdriver as a hammer, isn't it?

          seriously though
          as long as the water in not above the air box inlet the bike will be fine.


          I mean if you cant afford a Vstrom or KTM adventure....

              I would have a smart-*** comment, and there are no pictures as proof, but in 78 I was off roading on a 76 Honda CB500T with Vetter fairing and 8-track.....

                            That's an old picture on ADVRider.com, people take their street sled off-road all the time.. Any moto can go off-road, just getting yourself out of the situation is tricky.
