Dragged Knee! Booyah!
Last week was my first track night. Was getting comfortable with tossing the bike around, and finding my lines and whatnot. Didn't get off the seat, and didn't have my upper body lined up right either. It was more of a trial-run, if you will.
This week, my buddy's goal was to get me offa the seat. And to start lining my upper body correctly. We scored better than that tho.
Thaaaaat's right. I did it. Tonight, through three different right hand corners, my knee got contact. Got a good drag on a sweeper, and a couple of short drags on two tighter turns.
The first time it happened, it freaked me out, so I ended up crapping the corner and standing her up... didn't bail or anything, but certainly didn't make good time on that lap lol
I could see that I was soooo close to dragging on a left hand hairpin, but i just couldn't drop low enough. Maybe next week.
Best rush, ever! Came offa my set and was just beaming! Couldn't stop giggling all night!
