What is a good brand of spark plug?

I got a quick question. I am going to be doing a tune up pretty soon on my '02 600 and thanks to CyberPoet I am going to go with Castrol GPS oil, but I need a good spark plug for the the kat. NOW the bike only has 4100 miles on it but ever since I both it had been sitting but started once in a while since Sept 2003 and I actually rode it in July for about 20 min. I know the oil needs to be changed and it needs a new battery, but what about the plugs????? CHANGE OR LEAVE IT since it only has 4100 miles????? If I do change what should I change them to???

NGK, Bosch are the two I like for any bike, snowmobile, ATV or Jet Ski. I wouldn't put a Autolite, AC Delco or Champion in a bike. Those are Automotive use.IMHO

I would suggest if you get into the engine far enough to get at the plugs (like if a valve adjustment is being done), to replace the plugs. Otherwise, unless you are having problems running, skip it at 4100 miles. The stock plugs do not go bad from sitting around (unused) normally, but from getting loaded up by poor air-fuel mixtures which cause build-up on the plug.

KNOW THIS:
Spark Plug torque for the Kats is a meager 8 lb-ft. Do not overtorque the plugs!

The plug I (and Suzuki) recommends for the 98+ Kat 600's is an NGK CR9EK. This information is listed in the owner's manual, and if you don't have an owner's manual, please PM me or get one.
