    What's up! My name is Rick just bought. 2000 katana 750! It's been siting for over a year!it was running sat for over a year due to previous owner buying a new bike. Any suggestions on what I should replace? Also I am a new rider this is my first bike.

    Welcome to KR. Download Carbs101 from the Wiki. You will want to clean and sync your carbs.

    Inspect the brake pads and discs. Flush and bleed the brakes.

    Inspect the tires and if they are older than 4yrs, replace them. Fresh tires can literally be the difference between life & death.

    Safety gear...get some and wear it.
