New to Katanas not to riding...618

Hi all. Sgt.Dad here in the 618. Been riding for over a decade but have always had a fascination with the Katan/Busan models. Just entered a deal where I'm about to aquire a 2000 Katana 600. (Did it for insurance) Planning on doing a ground up rebuild with a B12 motor,aftermarket fairings and updated taillight. If you have any pointers or fairing vendors you trust LMK.
