    New rookie here

    Hello all!

    New to the forums and dropping a line to say hello. I am new to bikes and going through the baby steps to riding. I picked up a '01 Katana 750 from a buddy with no time to ride. Glad to be part of the community.

    I live/work/play in Memphis, TN.

                  Welcome. I will offer you a nickles worth of free advice by giving you some of the forum rules here.

                  Rule 1.
                  Don't mention anything about female relatives to Range, and refuse to answer the question when he asks "Do you have a sister?"

                  Rule 2.
                  Make fun of Range and his blue "Power Ranger Suit", and how it makes his arse look small and funny/

                  Rule 3.
                  Always wear your gear. At least Helmet, Jacket, and over the Ankle boots with jeans.

                  Rule 4.
                  Don't listen to anything I write outside of when I am at work, because if I am not at work, I am drunk.

                  I think that pretty much covers it. Have fun, learn a lot, and don't be afraid to ask questions, thats what we are here for!!
