  • Hello from...

Hi I'm a new rider technically from Ohio but in CT for grad school. Rode as a passenger a few times but I'm just too tall so it feels weird, and decided I wanted to get a bike of my own. I bought my friend's red '89 Katana 600. Been on it a few times but haven't made it to the street yet.

I'm here to learn more about my bike and to ask questions when I need to. I'm a girl and haven't been taught too much as far as mechanical things, but am slowly learning. Learned about this forum from another general bike forum I'm on for CT so I thought I'd join in case I needed to know stuff.

    Welcome to KR!

Some advice, take the MSF course.
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

Well you've done one thing right so far, and that's coming here. Best Katana resource in the world. Welcome, and ride safe!

The supreme happiness of life is the conviction of being loved for yourself, or, more correctly, being loved in spite of yourself.
