Just bought a 97 Kat 600. New to the whole street bike riding. Grew up on dirt bikes and learning there is a big difference in the riding style. Any tips from you seasoned riders would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to KR. Think smooth when you're riding street. Also, since nobody's said it yet, go take the MSF riders course. It'll really help.

Welcome to KR. Never rode a dirt bike but learned to ride on a cruiser and sort of struggled with foot placement in the beginning. After riding a bit I'm sure it'll become more familiar in no time, it's just that old habits die hard. Good luck!
