                          welcome..... just FYI these are some things to consider...

                          @ 30,000 if the P.O. hasnt adjusted the valves and synced the carbs in the last 10,000 miles it will probably have to be done. Also check the chain and make sure it starts semi-easy COLD and idles at 1300rpm WARM

                            It fires right up, The chain is loose so it needs to be adjusted maybe even replaced. I got the service manual with it so i need to do some reading then I'll start working on it.

                              chain should have .8 to 1 inch vertical play. Check the seals on the chain, if they look damaged cracked or rusty then it should be changed. Also, when changing a chain its always a good idea to change your sprockets, they marry eachother and only changing one can cause premature wear
