Hello all from Massachusetts

Hi all,

Just picked up a dumped Kat last week, ordered a few parts from cheapcycleparts.com got it all put together, wouldn't run. After googling desperately I stumbled across this site and firstly, because of CyberPoet intervening in just about every oil related thread I didn't fill it up with regular automotive oil and screw up the clutch, and with the help of Carbs 101, tore 'em down cleaned them and the bike started right up.

Lots of informative posts here, just wanted to say thanks.
