Alright so some updates...messed up my thumb so I won't be riding for about 4 weeks but in the meantime i cleaned the carbs and rode the kat...and man did it have power. The funny part is after i parked (5 min ride through the parking lot) I realized the bike was only firing on 3 cylinders so....theres one more cylinder of power to go.

Really didn't expect that much go out of '89 600.

Anyway, on to the cylinder. Number 2 isn't firing but I'm fairly certain nothing is wrong with the cylinder itself and that its just something wrong with fuel/spark because there aren't any noises (knock, etc.) that would indicate bent rods etc. and the exhaust smells normal (a little rich) and looks normal. I'm going down today to replace the spark plugs and hope for the best.

If replacing the spark plugs doesnt work ill rip open the carbs once more and make sure i put everything back together right in the second carb. After I've done all that...if the cylinder doesn't fire...what's next to troubleshoot? Already checked the plug wire.

That's it for now...I'll have some new pictures up soon.

P.S. Sorry for any typos or shorthand...my thumb makes it a ***** to type
