    Hi Everybody
Have just discovered this site. I have recently acquired a GSX750F. These bikes are called Katanas in the US. Mine is a 2003 with 4000km's on it. It has a tinted screen and a Gianelli pipe. I am selling my previous bike which is a K75RT BMW. An awsome tourer but getting too heavy for an oldie like me(57). I wanted something with a sensible riding position, moderate costs of ownership and sporty performance. The Suzuki seemed the ideal choice. Still love the BMW but having heaps of fun on the Suzuki. I am located in Tasmania, an island south of Australia blessed with some of the best motorcycling roads in the world. BTW whats the highest mileage that anyone has got from one of these machines I hear the engines can be long lived.

Wow, welcome!! Tasmania has to be a great place to ride!
I have a 90 GSXF and I broke my first engine at 92000 km past January. Since then, I have a "new" one (bought used with 63000 km) and I have done near to 12000 km.
        PICSSSS!!!!

Welcome aboard! I was just watching a show the other day on Animal Planet about the wildlife in Australia and Tasmania. Interesting critters you all have down there!
