    1989 Katana 750

    I just picked this bike up last weekend, got her registered yesterday, and have rain in the forcast for days!!! Man this sucks. It's my first Kat and dying to ride her. I'm curious if anyone can reccomend a slip- on for this year? I've found lots of sites with kat slip-ons, but none of them show for 1989.

    I have a 89 with a D&D. Sounds great. ebay. They have them in black or polished at about 300 shipped. I haven't heard other brands, but I get comps on the sound.

        Well if you search around....

        You'll find out that 88-97 Kats had dual (4-2) exhaust.

        You can bolt on a 98-06 Kat 750 header and either 'clearance' the collector for clearance for the pre-98 oil pan, or buy a 98-06 KAt 600 or 750 (same part) engine oil pickup and oil pan, bolt those on to your Kat with the 98-06 header, and then use any Katana 98-06 slip on your want.
