  • Hello everyone!

I just purchased a 2001 Katana 600 with only 600 miles on it. The guy who owned it never rode and was scared of it. This is my first cycle I still have to get licensed and practice riding. The bike does not idle smoothly and the trottle response is slow. I may have to clean the carbs and put new plugs in. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. Larry

Welcome! You should post up your problems in the mechanics 101 section. Lots of guys there to help. otherwise, it may be a long wait for the advice here in the intros thread.

Clean the fuel system and that should clear it up
