hi everybody. my name is russ, i go by mxhairball. i'm 36 and have been riding just about my whole life. my bike, my baby, my love is an '02 katana 600. she's been worked and tweaked to the point of smoking 750 gixxers. i enjoy hanging off the bike in turns (i see alot of people on all kinds of bikes with a 2" strip worn on the tires, my tires are wearing evenly from edge to edge). speaking of hanging off her, i run dunlop qualifiers front and back, on warm days and even in the rain they stick like glue. in 2006 i hit an oil spill in the middle of a left hand turn so i gave her a custom paint job, yellow with blue pearl ghost flames. recently i added a carbon fiber tire hugger and an undertail. i'm waiting on a braada seat cowl, i understand the delay so when it comes i know i'll be super happy. i keep her maintained and any time i can save up alittle money i buy her something special (which isn't easy with a wife, 2 boys and one in the oven). i recently moved to dover, delaware and haven't had a cance to find any curvy roads to play on, so if anyone's local, any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. also, if anyone is looking for someone to ride with, i'm always looking for time on the bike. and like i said, i've been riding most of my life and don't have a death wish, i don't push more than i can handle and try to be respectful of other motorist. too many times i've seen riders splitting lanes or riding on peoples bumpers and saw the looks and reactions of automobile drivers, it makes us all look bad and sometimes paints a target on all our backs. so if you see a yellow katana with a guy wearing a yellow alpinestar jacket and on the weekend black alpinestar race pants (yes, they saved me once so they're year round) and a yellow, black, and white helmet with a gold visor, feel free to share a lane with me or give a wave. we're all in this for the same thing. see you soon and be safe.
