My name is Shawn and I just bought a 2000 Sukuki Katana 750 and I can't wait to take it out. I live out in the Columbia Gorge in Washington state where I will be putting many miles on the new toy. I was wondering if anyone knows any good tire brands and prices along with brakes since mine will need to be replaced? Anyways and useful advice welcome.

I run metzler z6 road tecs. Decent price, great quality, and will give you quite a few miles. Another one I've seen enough raving reviews to recommend is the Conti Road attacks.

Welcome to the sight Shawn, Conti road attacks or Metzler z6's. You can try http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/. As for brakes EBC HH for the front and regular for the back. HH grabs more, so it may not be the best choice for the back, to easy to lock up.
