    FINALLY. IM IN THE HOUSE! NEW 2 MOTORCYCLE BKIE RIDING AND I CHOZE A 1996 KATANA 600. I'm VERY HYPED! . OK i BROURGH THE BIKE FROM A DEALER AS-IS. SO MY QUESTION IS HOW DO U CHECK THE OIL & ALL THE OTHER THINGS THAT 1 NEED 2 KNOW WHEN TUNING UP A UR KATANA, OR CHECKIN 2 MAKE SURE THE DEALER SERVICES THE BIKE.

                    Welcome. There's digital downloads of the service manuals around that'll tell you how to change your oil and do pretty much any maintenance item under the sun.

                    Carbs 101 and 102 are great writeups on how to clean your carbs, and can be found in the mechanics 101 area, along with lots of other tips and tricks we've found along the years.
