Just bought a 1993 Kat 600. I am hoping to get some of the neglected maintance done before it gets warm. I noticed on the board that I can't send any PM's or post in the classifieds until I have a certain number of posts. So I figured I'd post here to get started.

Haven't had any questions yet that I couldn't answer by reading old post. I have been reading and searching the site for a bit now.
Going to do the basic maintenance of an oil change, remove the K&N filter, and I have to rebuild the front forks since one is leaking. The chain looks a bit neglected too since the bike sat outside under an car park roof.
The bike is has the stylish purple rims, so pics will come once that "issue" is resolved. Haven't decided if I'm going to polish them completely or paint them black.1993 Kat 600 & 1999 Kat 750Comment
