  • New to the forum, and mint condition 93 Katana for sale

    Hey all,

New to the forum. Have had a Katana since late 92; and been riding since 89. Currently have a 93 Katana and a 01 CBR929.

Was tipped off about this forum from one of the users. He came by to get a center stand I had for my bike. He was quite impressed with the condition of the bike.

If anyone is interested, I just posted the bike in Craigslist:
    *removed*
The bike is in Boulder, Colorado; and is mostly a stock bike (except for V&H stainless exhaust) and it's in incredible condition. I'm the original owner; it's never been dropped, always been garage kept, it's been meticulously maintained. To give you an idea, it's only seen rain twice.

I figured someone on this forum might appreciate the bike, and the shape it's in...

My apologies for not putting this in the Katanas for Sale section. Apparently, you can't post there until you have 50 posts...

    Take care,
    A.J.

There is a reason you cannot post in the classifieds unless you have at least 50 posts.

Welcome to KR, but I fully expect that your post will be edited.
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

Due to past experiences with "hit and run" for-salers forum rules do not allow posting of items for sale to members with fewer than 50 posts.

Yep, it was. Bummer for the person that might have been interested.

I can see the reason why; but with a bike like this, this website would be a very likely place to find someone that would appreciate it. No worries. It doesn't cost very much to keep around, and it's a more comfy ride than the CBR. If it goes, cool, if not, no worries.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes!

If I do end up keeping it, I'm sure this website will have lots of great info...

                          Take care,
                          A.J.
