I've been riding GS Suzukis for years '82 GS 750, '78 GS 750, '78 GS 1000, and last year A '79 GS1000, I love the old GS series bikes, But a friend had a '90 GSX 1100F sitting in parts in his garage, and I couldn't resist. Offered him some cash and he said he'd put it back together and deliver it. I was expecting to buy a pile of parts and now I'm getting a running bike. Merry Christmas to me. He tore it apart to paint it and then bought himself a newer bike that didn't need paint. Looks like I'll be riding a splotchy, part primer, part original paint, bike this season and tear it down and paint it up next year. Looking forward to the upgrade in power and performance. Looking to make it more of a touring bike than speed racer.
