Hey all,
I'm new to the forum and new to the katana. I have 2005 katana600. It is currently all stock, but I have removed all of the stickers. I am glad to meet everyone and hope to gain some knowledge from this forum.

no, my kat is red. I am eastern KY..the town is paintsville....very small. I've been riding since I was 12, but this is my first "sport" bike.
I will try to get pics up soon. My plans are:
upgrading the exhaust
deleting the rear fender
clear turn/tailights
some sort of custom graphics (suggestions please)
seat cowl

Those are all the cosmetic things....I have motor and brake plans too. I love to work on this stuff.

I am thinking of "screening"the holes in the fairings. What kind of screen is best, and where can I get ahold of it?

BTW I am glad I found a site where katanas are respected. Everywhere else I see "can of tuna".... I love my bike and did A LOT of shopping and comparing before deciding.
