Hi All! Glad to be a part of this forum. Been reading for a while and finally decided to leap in and start participating. I am a newbie rider (fully MSF graduated) with a 2002 Kat 600. After trying out about a dozen similar cc bikes, I decided on the Kat. The extra weight makes it seem more stable and less jumpy than the others. Plus it is the only bike I can flatfoot in the 600cc class and actually has a real fuel gauge.
Just moved here from Denver, CO. My riding style? I a newbie 2005 rider and am being mentored by a friend on a Kawasaki Concours, so no learning squidly moves here. First real day out: 120 miles. It has been raining ever since (every weekend since tax day and counting). I am tilted towards the left side of the hyphen in sport-touring.
Any MA or Southern NH riders here get together? Looking for a laid back but fun sport-touring group not a weekend racing group. Again I am still new to all of this, so bear with me as I am sure I will have lots of questions.
