Let's try this again, I'm 60 years old, an aircraft mechanic living in the Portland Oregon area. I've lusted after an early Katana since I first saw one in 1982. They've continued to be just out of my reach pricewise so I've decided to build one of my own. The basic bike will be an early oil cooled Bandit with a gsxr1100 engine, late model gsxr1000 suspension with R1 wheels and a mix of first and second generation Katana parts. I've acquired everything I need except for a right side cover for a 1985 gsx750s katana. I've looked for one for the last 8 years to no avail so if anyone on the forum has one that I can buy or borrow to pull a mold off of let me know. Thanks
