I bought the Paul Jr. Designs saddlebags from Walmart, there $38.88. Ive had 4 trips with them so far and they are the best $38 bucks Ive ever spent, well on cheap motorcycle stuff anyway. They are super adjustable, fit just the right amount of stuff, and super easy to use. Anybody else use these or other simular cheap gear that works really well?

Here are some photos, sorry for the crappy night shots, its all the time I have. The black straps under the seat are supposed to go over the seat per the directions but they are solid velcro and can be adjusted to any length, so I decided to put them under the seat. then there is a strap with clips that I wrap around the passenger peg mount and handle. They are also super adjustable as these bags are universal. the bags themselves have a solid bottom and sides, the bottom can be pulled out to flatten the bags if you like. They also have built in dust covers that come out a small pocket on each bag and a handle on each bag for carrying.

My soft bags scratch my paint too... I usually put duct tape over the paint when going on a road trip. Looks like hell but saves the paint.
