  • Handle bars

while i was looking at my bike today i have decided the first thing i would like to do is put some new handle bars on it. How would i go about getting the choke lever and all that jazz on a new set of bars? I am looking at the one peice type of bars for the bike

your garage says 2007 katana. I am assuming it should read 2006?

I believe you will need to swap out the top triple tree to one that will accept that type of handlebar. I think some of the bandit triple tree's may work. Not sure though. someone else will have some info and post up though.

I used the risers from a virago to make the bars work.
the controls are going to go on just the same as they do on your clip ons,
but you might need to get a longer brake line.

Sorry about the wait i don't come on here much.
Here they are theyre tag bars and risers, i had to make the holes bigger to fit the riser bolts, the bars are a little wide and could use some cutting but i like it. o also had to get a longer front brake line

                        my suggestion

                        or

after a crash i cut the lower triangular thing that holds the forks(i don`t know how it`s in english) attached the pieces withn the original handle bars then tighten them directly to the forks

                        a better look
