the R6 tail cowl i won on ebay arrived as a rear mudgoard- the seller sent me wrong item and sent my tail to another buyer.....still figuring out what to do

the tail showed up
however, noone knows what has happened, because the rear mudguard i received before is not from the seller
the dumb thing is that i had already ordered another tail

but here she is in all her beauty




And about the canceling of the project- so far it won't happen
my brother have problems in his work so we won't have money for the other bike we wanted to buy so i will continue the project

I am selling th e project....switching to Supermoto

well....long time since i posted in the forum
so for now the project has no clear future
i bought a KTM turned to supermoto and all my time and money poured into this sumo bike
so i sold some of the parts of the project but still haven`t give up yet
currently i still got
the frame
rear swing, rear shock
rear wheel
rear brake, disk, master
seat
thats all....the forks, the tank and the tail are gone

plus i bought a set of Mikuni TM33 Pumper carbs
i found another donor bike for the front end, tank and tail section
a ZXR250 bike- not the top end engineering for my project, but a decent 41mm USD front
still haven`t bought it yet, cause of unexpected expenses for my car

and just to show off, here is the devil bike that put this progect in such danger

nice ktm, i wanted to get a sumo bike before i had my katana. but it was way too expensive for me. have you seen the guys that drift those bikes?

and yep..it is an expensive type ot biking
ever that my EGS is not and original SM, but an old enduro it cost twice the kat

wheels, tires, brakes, carb...... wow way to expensive

a SM carb is about 400$, while i can get 4 mikunis for 50$

some update after a long time

bought a zxr250 for a donor bike
will use the front - USD 41mm

just put it on my Kat to see how will it look like
and it turno out to be "bolt on", everything fitted

Sorry, I have to disagree. No hard feelings because I know you put a lot of work into it, but I think this idea is just rubbish. Would you put a Toyota Prius engine into a BMW M3? No. If you want a Kat to handle and look like a GSXR... buy a GSXR.
