I would up for a race if money wasn't a major object of this build. Engine is about a year or 2 away from getting the proper treatments for more hp.

Without the information on KR, I would have never started the sickness with my KatBusa, the Chrome Project and now the GS.

I was asked the other day, "what bike build do you like best so far?"
I answered the next finished project build!
What will happen next remains to be seen. Will it be another Katana, another old school zuki?
I will finish this one and go from there!

Mine is still in mockup stage
I still have to get the frame gussets, and rear shock mounts welded
The tank is at the welders now, I just have to buy him lunch and pick the tank up.
As you know, about mid stream some ideas can and will change

what are you having done to the tank? Hmmm, mid stream changes, don't know what you're talking about

If you really want to get crazy and detail oriented, take a high build primer (the stuff from a painter supplier that's more like sprayable filler) and shoot the area where the cap bolts in. Once it's set up, wrap your filler cap base in a few layers of tape, wrap some sand paper around it and slowly twist it into the filler hole on the tank. Do this a few times and you can get a very minimal gap between the edge of the tank and your gas cap. Maybe over the top, but I think it really makes a difference on the 1157 tank.

Money and my personal condition have kept me from being able to do anything with this project. anytime I go out and see the frame sitting on the table just saddens me. I will get back to this before the thread becomes a ARCHIVE thread though
