    my bike wants to move forward when cold starting is this normal?
    i have a gsx750f 1996

    Might need to adjust the clutch a tad. The manual (available for download in mech 101 section) has a good write up of it.

      Could just be cold oil drag, mine does it when cold because I run thicker oil.

        Wet clutch, higher viscosity oil ( or at colder temps ) may cause a little bit of friction when trying to start the bike.

        I suggest choosing neutral for cold starts to help with that a little.

        An adjustment on the clutch is not out of the picture, but it's not uncommon for some drag to occur.

        I've frequently oiled my chain by letting the bike idle in neutral on the center stand and the wheel slowly turning from the oil drag.
