  • Side Cases

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2003 Black Katana 750 that I want to install some side cases on. I wanted Givi cases but am told they don'twork well with my bike. Does anyone have a suggestion? i prefer two side/hard cases.

    Thanks,

Pretty much nonexistent new. The bike is unpopular as bikes go and old as bikes go. Try EBay.

I used $40-$60 horse panniers for my Katana..

IME, hard cases are just too much unnecessary weight to add to an already heavy bike.. the extra sturdy cases just increase the chance of frame damage during a crash.

Security of lockable cases would be nice, but I've never felt the need for extra security when I leave my (dead insect covered) helmet and jacket on the bike for extended period of time; no one messes with my stuff.

Thanks so much for the lead on what appears to be a great solution. where did you source the $40-$60 horse panniers from? Do they stay stable on the bike and easy to install? I want to use them for my computer or gym sullpoies as a commute more frequesntly via motorcycle.

          Thanks, roger
