Stock Muffler Issues...

I'm trying to take off the stock pipe and it seems to be stuck at the end where the exhaust clamp is located. I looks to be fited inside of the end of the header and maybe like a mesh gasket. Either way we can not get it to slip off. Is there a special tool or way to make this process easier? Also re-tuning how difficult is that process?
