First bike, 2006 katana 600, lately ive been having issues while trying to start it. Most days it starts just fine. Recently, however, I went to start it and it tries to start but wouldnt turn over. So I tried again after an hour or so and it started just fine. Then yesterday it did the same exact thing. So I bought a new battery for it, put it in and it started up right away just fine. Get up this morning, now it wont start. Recently I put led lights underneath it. I ran the pos n neg to battery for the lights. The lights have a switch they run off of to turn them on and off. Could this have something to do with it? Please help! I know nothing about cars or bikes...
