I ride around the Bear Mountain area alot and it looks pretty similar. Which roads do you use to get to where you were? I head up that way from Long Island so I usually take the Hutch.

from the hutch, heads towards bear mt and then from there heads towards the palisade parkway, from there should be alot of sign for harriman state parks from there.


bear mt is really close to harriman state park.
