I don't have this exact product but I have an accelorator lock that the owner before me made himself. It's basically a plastic sheath around the front of the grip and a metal clap around the plastic. at the bottom of the clamp he put a spring loaded clip so all I have to do is flick of the thumb and it locks or unlocks.

Hey I like how the brake kicks it off too. Now I wonder if it limits brake lever travel at all?.

Holy crap....that seems more complicated than what I care for. I used to do aftermarket Cruise controls for new cars and they weren't that bad. Sheesh. I think I will stick with the throttle squeezers. I'm not motivated enough to go through all that for something I may need just once in awhile.
