I just dumped two pints of Mobil 1 Synthetic into a dirty oil pan b/c I forgot to put the drain plug back in. This is what I get for changing oil before two cups of coffee have fully taken effect. Anyone else ever make this fun little $20 mistake?

Thread title "fail", unless you were really flailing.

I just had to dump a whole motors worth of amsoil, 300 miles old. I had to replace the engine case cover gasket. DumbLuck told me to put into a new turkey baster pan, and then transfer it back in. Two things wrong with this. First, I suck at oil transfer, you should see my garage floor. Second, I just didn't feel right doing it.

Changed the oil in my truck. Started the truck to check level. Stepped out of truck into puddle of oil. Realized I forgot to put on new filter.

                        Youre not alone bro!
