  • Bye Bye Kat

I know I'm not a long term member of the board or anything. I just want to commend you guys on a good community that supports the bike. I learned a lot of valuable information in a short time on here and that made it very easy for me to get a Kat that was not in great shape into really great running order. Everyone was very welcoming and I appreciate that.

These bikes are very resilient and well built. Last weekend I sold my Kat for a nice profit and turned the money right around on a ninja zx12r. It was too good of a deal to pass up. I liked the Kat a lot and although I only put 1200 miles on it in two months it would have served me fine in the long run. I just couldnt pass up this deal on a very cherry 2000 zx12r with only 8k miles for cheap!

Add another waiting for pics. My friend is holding on to his 2000 ZX-12R until I can get the cash together to buy it from him this summer. The one I''m buying has 10,500 miles on it right now though. Might be closer to 12k miles if I don't get called to go to work soon, since he's riding it on weekends still until he gets the money from me to go buy his next bike.

Looks nice, don't ever forget to respect the power that beast has, they can and will bite.....HARD. lol Here's the one I am working on picking up this summer.

Oh, and technically it actually gained a few pounds lol, The 2000 ZX-12 R dry weight was 474lbs, curb weight was in the 530-540lb range.
