Yup, I was hit by a HUGE bird with about a 5 ft. wingspan. He was carrying a rabbit which exploded all over my leathers. When he hit me, I felt it, but it didn't hurt. It could be a huge distraction for some though, which I guess could cause a crash.

I was going to mention your experience. Stuck with me. Quite an extraordinary video of it.

This post made me laugh out loud. Birds are like the one thing that scary me on the bike. I'm constantly ducking them. One hit my helmet last year, I was only going about 30 MPH, but it was just loud, not painful.

Not on the bike.....I took a grasshopper to the faceshield at 198 MPH while driving the dragster once! Sounded like a cannon went off in my helmet, knocked my shield off one side, and slammed my head into the rollcage. Had a splitting headache the rest of the day!
