Done it a couple times actually, it was the last nail in the coffin for my old battery.

I've done it once. And once was all it took to remind myself to be very careful not to put it in "P"

I did this the first time I ever parked the Kat. Thankfully it was in my shed so I had ready access to booster cables etc .. I was very careful never to do that again though!!

Did it once at work. Luckily, the security guard told me my lights were on and I was like WTF? I didn't even know what the park setting was at the time.

Can you "bump" start a Kat with a dead battery? Or does there have to be some charge?

First of all raise your hand if you did Nelson's HA ha out loud to yourself. Anyone?

I haven't yet done that before but I can understand ho annoying that is. One time about two blocks from my house my bike just died. I thought it was the battery for some reason but I decided to push it the two blocks home - before it was lowered, lol which was misery for me. About 10 feet shy of my driveway I realized the kill switch was on.

You are lucky you came back to find the bike there.

haha... i've done it - twice.
worst part about the first time was that it was right outside my work window, all day. the reflection from the sun makes it hard to tell that the lights are on (thankfully, i'll be remedying that with the paint job)
the kat may be the gixxer's retarded cousin, but she's a hefty broad... and i do loves me some girth between my thighs.
