Bought a friend for my Kat

I bought another Kat this weekend. It was posted as a parts bike on craigslist, but when I looked at it, it was nearly complete. The guy said he got tired of messing with the carbs. Paid $400 for it. All it needs are tires, 1 mirror, carb work and normal maintenance for a bike that has been sitting for a couple of years. My other bike is running great but has a bad body so I am going to swap the body over because the body on my new Kat is in GREAT shape. Then I am going to sell my new Kat with my old Kats body work to a friend for, get this, $400. So I am getting a really good body for free.

Well unfortunately my camera is being a bi$tch and giving me some error saying there is dirt in the lense mechanism. I will have to take the camera apart before I can post any pictures. Sorry for getting you all excited and then not following through.

Finally got the camera to work again. Here it is:






and here is the bike that I am going to swap fairings with. I never really cared for the yellow and it now has spots worn through both sides from laying it down.

I still think I'm not getting a bad deal at $400 for getting the old fairings back.
