I just wanted to say thank you to every one for all the information that I was able to get from this forum. I was able to do my first valve adjustment and carb sync. The Kat is running so much smother now.

OK I know mine is due for a valve adjustment....Just a little paranoid that I am gonna mess it up. But the more I keep reading.... the more I think I can tackle it. I mean I do adjust the valves on my ATV's and all the maint. on my truck. Can't be that hard to do.

Hardest part of the entire job is getting the valve cover out of the frame. Takes some finaggling, but it does come out. After that, it's all downhill

Seriously, glad you got it done. And a nice reminder of something else I love about the Buell. One throttle body, and hydraulic valve actuation. I'll be passing what would have been my second valve adjustment on the Kat this week.
