  • Finally finished...

    As a few of you remember, I wanted to rebuild my kat. So after a complete motor rebuild (not that it needed it but with 24k miles I thought that it was time), new paint, tires, windscreen, custom polished chain guard and a list of other parts its done.

        BTW, I think they may have been correct. It does appear that BLACK is indeed the FASTEST color. R.O.R...R.I.P.M

                  Very clean. I think I would have gone black on the tank solo cowl and belly cowl though for a two tone look. (Just a thought for when you eventually get bored with it )

                    That looks real nice man, real nice!

                    Have you considered painting the top of the tail light to match the rest?... really ties in well with the solo cowl that way.

                        But why would you do a rebuild on only 24k miles? Did you do the top end or what? 24k to me is low miles.

                          The motor rebuild was from top to bottom. It was a great learning experience. Everybody that helped me with the build was great. Almost all of the work that was done was by me. So I learned alot. Basically all I didnt do was shoot the paint.
