    Spencer cycle

    Anyone have luck getting parts from these guys?
    They never get back to you with info. Never respond to emails.
    I'm trying to get some adjustable lowering links from them (the kind that turn for adjustment)
    Kinda seems like they're going out of business or something.

    I can definitely see your predicament, if you can't get at that nut from above the swingarm coming in from the exterior of the bike...

    Maybe he can fab up another set with a center-break instead, or only a lower-adjustment (upper threads gone)

    Either that, or drill holes in each of the six-sides of the nut for an allen key to fit into, and use a 90 degree allen key to pull/push on the nut to rotate it...

    Tried the crowsfoot, it's just too tight in there for it to fit..I had some pics...I'll try and find the thread...

    I just went through all of SpencerCycle's lowering links, and I'm still not seeing any turn-buckle ones appropriate for the GSX750F (Katana). The turn-buckle design is actually made by a place called Soupy's Performance (http://www.soupysperformance.com/) and he doesn't make them for the Kats, nor is the Hayabusa one (nor any of the others) cross-compatible that he lists or that I know of.

    What some companies offer is a multi-hole plate solution, but it's a poorly-designed answer, in part because of the metal they're typically made of (aluminum). Instead, you should try to contact ne-oublie here on KR and see what he may be able to do for you; he ought to be able to machine out a steel solution that is very specific to her height requirements.

    The other answer, and it's probably the best one if she rides it regularly one-up, is to set the bike up for the wife's height/inseam length, and then alter the shock's preload adjustment as needed to compensate for the differences in your weight vs. her weight (for example, if she weighs 130 and you weigh 190, she gets something like a "2" setting, while you get a "6" or "7" if the bike has been lowered). This won't raise the bike up for you, but it will keep it from squatting as much under your weight.

    Which bike do you have (GSX750F, or the GSXR750)? I'm asking because there is no such thing as an adjustable [turn-buckle style] lowering links for the Katana (GSX750F) that I'm aware of...
