  • LED signals that fit on my 89

I'm looking to replace my signals with LED ones. I'd rather not get stuck with some expensive LEDs that don't fit so I'm asking for any info you can help me with on this. I have a 89. Where'd you get your LED signals?

You want to change the whole thing?
Easiest is to change the bulbs to LED replacement. Not too cheap.
If you're handy you can go this route:

I retro fitted a set of lockhart phillips turn signals but the same technique would work for the stockers.

To change the whole thing, just get a good brand of LED turn signals, Just remember you need long stalk ones for the front.. Again, not so cheap.

They're broken so replacing them all. I think I found some. Gotta see if the guy has 2 sets. They're are just too many on ebay to waste time looking at them all and taking a chance of them not fitting. So I'm looking for guys that already have some installed with input on them.

Hey BP...I was just looking at that thread again...with the newer LED's with wider angle, now you can get them with 120degree visibility...it changes the playing field just a little...same concepts but now you may not need as many...also I've been playing around with Luxeon (Pro-light) 1W LED's...they are nice an bright..also running 2 resistors..one for running and the other for brake..it's been working out pretty good.
